A shared "Spring Cleaning" community initiative, The Other Side Academy and North Star Recovery & Wellness are joining resources to furnish or refurnish the home or apartment of an individual or family that needs new-to-them (gently used) furniture to start over or build a new life.

Please complete the form below to submit your nomination by midnight (MST) on Friday, February 21, 2025.  

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Winners will be selected by leaders from North Start Recovery & Wellness and The Other Side Academy. Nominees and nominators will be notified by Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

IMPORTANT

To qualify, the nominee's home must be located in one of the following counties in Utah: Weber County, Davis County, Salt Lake County, or Utah County.

Hundreds of hearts united across Utah to bring warmth, dignity, and hope to individuals in recovery.

Last year, our community came together in an incredible way to support individuals rebuilding their lives. Across the state of Utah, generous donors contributed hundreds of items of clothing—from winter coats to everyday essentials—to help dozens of people in addiction recovery. This initiative wasn’t just about clothing; it was about offering dignity, confidence, and a tangible reminder that no one is alone on their journey to healing.

INITIATIVE OUTCOME

Hundreds of Items Donated: Over 500 pieces of clothing collected, including coats, shoes, and everyday wear.

Dozens Impacted: Directly benefited 50+ individuals in recovery programs across Utah.

Statewide Support: Contributions poured in from communities throughout Utah, showcasing the power of collective action.
